Devils Lake Family Entertainment Center
The 30,000 SF family entertainment center plans include a walking track, community rooms, two pickleball courts, multi-sport simulators, an indoor playground, six-lane bowling alley, senior lounge, and concessions area. The Park District also plans to move its offices to the building. The facility will be constructed in a building located at the intersection of Hwy 2 and Hwy 20 that previously housed a Leevers Foods grocery store.
January 2024 Update – Interior framing is moving along well and sheetrock is being installed.
October 2023 Update – Currently, framing is underway and almost complete. Electrical rough-in is close to complete as well. The new spiral duct work has started and plumbing is to start within the next week. The exterior work of the building is underway with new metal panels and replacement panels being installed.
September 2023 Update – Demolition of existing metal stud walls, sheetrock, duct work, plumbing and electrical is close to completion. Trench cutting for the new underground plumbing and some minor wall demolition is taking place and the electrician has started to install the new conduit in the main area.
