New Valley Middle School & Athletic Fields
The Grand Forks Public School District opened the new north-end middle school for grades 6-8 in January 2026. The project continues into 2026 with the demolition of the old Valley Middle School and athletic fields being constructed in its place, including one soccer field, one football field, two baseball fields and an extended parking lot. Voters passed a $79 million referendum in May 2023, $55 million for the new school building.
